Walks in Oxon, Warks & Northants
by gem1000

Hello
I live in Oxfordshire, close to the borders of Warwickshire and Northants. Gloucestershire and Bucks are not far away either.
There are many lovely, rural walks in these counties but invitations on here are rare.
So I was wondering if it might be possible to get some group walks going.
If the idea appeals, please let me know, either on here or by direct message if you prefer 🙂

gegem1000Hello,
I am an oldie on here, however life has been an adventure but has also stopped still over the last few years which has meant my walking boots are dusty! So will need to start slow to build up my fitness. I am not too far from you I will look out for any walks you may post. I will also hopefully post some of my own over the next few months.
Dte65, it's a great time of year to dust your boots off and get out on some walks. Look forward to meeting you 😊
gegem1000Hi Gem, I’m in N Leics but struggle with back pain so my max is about 6-7 miles fairly flat. Would love to join join local-ish walks if I can 😊
BJBlue JohnHi. I am in Surrey, so easy to get to your neck of the woods. I'm away most of the rest of May though.
LlLlwydfanBlue John, it would be lovely to see you again. I think the last time may have been on a walk from Braunston?
gegem1000Llwydfan, look forward to meeting you.
Hi Meg, Will be happy to join you on the walks closer to Wiltshire .
PhPhiltheetilerThat would be great, Phil 😊
on 12/05/23 @ 19:31Hi and thank you to everyone who has left a message. Unfortunately, the torn ligaments that led to the cancellation of the Rollright Stones walk are going to take longer to repair than I had hoped.
gegem1000I will put on another invitation as soon as I can and keep an eye out for more from Roland too.
Meanwhile, enjoy getting out and about in this lovely weather, look forward to seeing you all later in the summer 😊
