Thanks so much to HV40 for leading this great days walk. 12 mile and 2100 feet ascent. Some did the whole route, some didn’t, some saw the Flying Scotsman, some didn’t, some travelled by train, some didn’t, some stayed over, some didn’t but all did have a wonderful day. The weather played nice too and waited until we were in The Station Inn ( with massive plates of lovely food ) before the cracks of thunder and pouring rain commenced. Thanks again Paul 😁

Thank you all for joining me on this walk, a good day was had by all in ideal summer weather, the rain held off until we arrived back at Ribblehead for a hearty meal in the Station Inn.
