future sprawling longingly,
beckoning our spirit to share,
moving gaily and with glee

you've been and gone,

We think you blew it,

so now let's put you
out of sight...
A New Year's here,
and hope beguiling
pervades our souls,
with nature smiling...

and bound, cavort,
show that ole year
what you thought!

lies ahead,

with passion rare...
