Thank you Derek for putting a walk on that I was able to join ๐Ÿ™‚ I really enjoyed the views, company, hills....until I fell into the lake of cow poo! Which not only went IN my boots, all over my trousers, jacket, bag etc BUT even on face and IN my hair...lovely ๐Ÿ˜‚ Unfortunately for you lot, and luckily for me, there is no photo ๐Ÿ˜€

๐Ÿ˜ฎ This brings a whole new meaning to 'putting your foot in it' โ€ฆ and people wonder why I like road walking! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Elliewalker: Is that your feet or the boots ? ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ˜‚ they're in a bucket now having a long relaxing soak in bubbles!

Highpeakman 18/02/2022 22:16

Helen: Have you tried taking them off your feet yet??? ๐Ÿ˜‚x

...and cow wee ๐Ÿ˜‚ I've rinsed and rinsed my boots but the water still isn't clear and they smell ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I'm glad you enjoyed it Doug, I'm trying to do a few off the beaten track walks, but different isn't always best, so it's nice if they are enjoyed...

The weather was very kind to us most of the day and with the low pressure the air was clear so the views were amazing.

Helen: You should be very grateful, you'd pay a fortune for that if you'd booked on a spa weekend!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚ x Thanks for everyone's company, it was a tough walk, but with loads of laughs......๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

You will remember this walk though Helen. It wasn't all cow poo, there was plenty of cow wee as well.๐Ÿ˜‚Washing machines and showers to the rescue. Just remember the order of the walk, hill, mud, lots of hills, steep decent, mud, cross a bridge, scramble up a muddy bank then wander up and down a field, mud, hail storm, mud, steep decent, mud and back in to Hartington.
